Fotini discovered yoga, mainly Astanga, in her early 20’s. Finding that Astanga was heavily focused on physicality, she began to explore other yoga techniques such as breathing practices (pranayama), deep relaxation (Yoga Nidra) and meditation of the Triratna order. In recent years, Fotini continues to explore the body/mind/breath connection through other movement modalities such as Tango and Contemporary Dance. Her determined yet mindful approach allows students to learn in a calm and safe environment without compromising progress. She hopes to share her joy of movement, inspiring calm minds, peaceful breath and happy bodies.
