Originally from Perth, Western Australia, Eliza moved to Melbourne to complete a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Hons) and worked in a range of hospital and private clinical settings before moving to London in 2019 to work at the London Centre for Intuitive Eating. Eliza now works as a freelance dietitian, specialising in disordered eating and body liberation, providing nutrition care for all bodies.
Eliza’s approach utilises a range of body affirming and non-diet approaches alongside medical nutrition therapy and dietetic practice to support individuals in connecting with and trusting their bodies, and in finding a positive relationship with food. She works with clients who are in recovery from eating disorders or disordered eating, and those who are looking to reconnect with their body or find compassionate ways of promoting their wellbeing through food.
Intersectional feminism & anti-oppression forms the core of Eliza’s approach, working collaboratively with her clients to understand how our lived experience and identity relate to food and eating, and explore the role that food holds in connecting us to ourselves, our bodies and those around us. She prioritises inclusivity and accessibility with her clients, providing affirming care for all bodies & offering pay what you can options.
Eliza is a member of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Dietetic Association (BDA)
