KATIE WHEATON (Dip NT, CNM) is a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist based in London.  She trained at the renowned College of Naturopathic Medicine, where clinical practice underpins the training alongside Nutritional Science and anatomy and physiology.  She has subsequently trained in Nutrigenomics which looks at the effects of nutrients on the regulation of gene expression and is a useful tool in preventative personalized health care.  She is a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition & Nutritional Therapy (B.A.N.T), and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), which are professional bodies for nutritional practitioners. Alongside her private practice she works as a technical advisor for OptiBac Probiotics.
Her approach is client focused, personalized, educational, and collaborative.  Her unique knowledge and insight gained from working as a natural chef, food grower, and subsequent training in Naturopathic Nutrition and Nutrigenomics allows her to tailor a personalised nutrition plan for every client. Her consultations start from the premise that everyone is biochemically different, and that we all have different dietary needs based on our lifestyle, genetics, and personal goals. Her protocols are put together using the principles of Nutritional Therapy and Functional Medicine, addressing root causes rather than symptom management.
Optimum nutrition can support a wide variety of symptoms such as fatigue, skin, autoimmune conditions, fertility, cognitive health, menopause, digestive issues, food intolerances, stress, and poor immune function.
Through her gentle compassionate nutrition guidance you can achieve your health goals and optimum vitality.
