Simone is a yoga teacher and life coach whose mission it is to support her students to conquer stress through movement and mindset.
Her yoga classes are flowy, light-hearted and playful, but fundamentally grounding and supportive. Her teaching goes beyond instructing movements of the body; she provides a welcoming space for them to get to know their bodies better and in new ways. She encourages students to let go of their competitive predispositions and aims to make yoga accessible and approachable for all students, regardless of experience. She aims to empower her students to live mindfully and authentically, and to ultimately reclaim their inner peace.
As someone who always had a busy and hectic lifestyle, when Simone found yoga, it provided a welcome contrast. The teachings she encountered fundamentally shifted her outlook and sparked her curiosity to learn more. A dedicated student, she travelled to Rishikesh, India in 2017 to deepen her understanding of yoga and train as a teacher of ashtanga and hatha yoga. She has continued studying ever since, and has completed a year-long teaching apprenticeship, as well as specialised training courses on Yoga and Depression, Yoga for Runners, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Injury & Pain Management in London.
